I've made a tutorial on how I turned a basic video into a half-animated world using CapCut AI Effects with the New Age Art filter.
TUTORIAL:
1. Upload your clip into CapCut
2. Fix the base. I always use the auto adjust to clean up lighting and improve quality first.
3. Go to Effects, then AI Effects, and choose the New Age Art effect. Apply it and let it process fully.
4. Overlay your original video and place it on top.
5. Add a mask so you create a rectangle or any shape in the centre with the real footage. The animated version stays in the background.
You end up with this split reality look. Half real, half animated.

Overall, really realistic and massive upgrade, but messed up the shadows.
Looks really realistic 👏 The lighting and motion feel very natural. Shadows can be tricky with AI video — still a strong result.
POV: You give CapCut AI a history lesson and it turns it into a cinematic MASTERPIECE. 🤯🎬
I lowkey felt like a Hollywood director making this. 💀 Used the new AI Workflow Maker for the #ATCP challenge and honestly? It ate. 🔥 The visuals, the voiceover, the vibe—literally insane that this is just a template.
