I recently signed up for a “free” live event where Nandi was going to explain how he made $11,579 with Framer in 60 days. Instead, I got an 11-minute teaser for a paid course (over $800).
I have no issue with selling knowledge, I pay for courses. The issue was how it was communicated.
The event promised value but delivered no real insights; just high-level content leading to a paid offer. After all the buildup, it felt misleading.
With a background in communication and PR, this doesn’t sit right with me. Transparency matters.
If it had been clearly positioned as a preview, that would be fine. But presenting it as valuable free content and delivering a teaser instead felt a bit inelegant.
