Speed Is Easy. Clean AI-Assisted Development Is Hard.
AI tools can help developers move fast. They can generate code, write tests, explain errors, and speed up boring tasks.
But speed alone is not enough.
The real challenge is keeping the product clean while using AI. If you accept every suggestion without checking it, the codebase can quickly become bloated, inconsistent, and hard to maintain.
That is why I treat AI like a strong assistant, not the main developer.
I use tools like Claude and Cursor to speed up planning, debugging, refactoring, and implementation. But I still review the logic, check the architecture, and make sure the code fits the product.
Clean AI-assisted development means:
Keeping features simple
Avoiding unnecessary code
Understanding what gets added
Protecting the architecture
Testing before trusting
AI can help us build faster, but good judgment keeps the product healthy.
The best results come when developers use AI with control, not blindly.

There’s a loud narrative that AI image generation is ruining commercial design, that it’s just “lazy editing” or a cheap shortcut. This visual for 'LMNR' tells a completely different story.
The background, the majestic amethyst base, and the futuristic reflections weren't shot in a studio or meticulously manual-brushed for hours. They were engineered using CapCut’s AI generator. But here is the catch, the AI didn’t magically know how to balance the bold cyan-and-purple ambient light, nor did it understand how to maintain the strict physical integrity of the product bottle. That required precise prompting, strict composition logic, and an uncompromising visual taste.
AI is just a tool. In the hands of an amateur, it looks generic. In expert hands with sharp creative direction, it builds entire universes in seconds.

Designed this smart health ring landing page recently and experimented with a different workflow than usual.
Most of the visuals were static designs, then I used AI to help bring them to life as image sequences and animations. After that it was a lot of tweaking, timing, editing, and making everything feel cohesive.
Honestly, AI has been making it much easier to explore ideas that would've taken significantly longer a year or two ago. Instead of spending days creating every animation from scratch, I can iterate on multiple directions quickly and focus more on the creative and product decisions.
A full CRM plus website plus brand design in one case study is a strong portfolio piece. The information architecture work is often what clients can't see until it's missing, so surfacing that in the case study is the right call.
