Hi, I need assistance from someone at Capcut.
I'm having this problem when trying to generate the video.
The cost of credits is very high. 12960.
They exceed the cost of gift credits.
Seedance 2.5 / 720p / 30s / I didn't upload any video or image references.
No prompt or a single word is the same.
Is that cost normal?
From what I've seen in tutorials, the cost should be around 1000 credits.
Am I doing something wrong?
I think you're using the wrong tool for this challenge — the rules specify: 'Your submission must be created using CapCut Video Studio.' You need another tool on the web for this. I got caught in the same trap earlier.

you need to use capcut website regarding to guideline. But i am asking if its okay to use the capcut app since it keeps generating fail/error

Reposting this because the craft reasoning is worth studying more than the sci-fi concept itself: choosing film grain, rust, and dust over a clean CGI look is the exact same principle real cinematographers use to make VFX-heavy scenes feel tangible. Pulling that off in a single unbroken shot using AI tooling (Seedance 2.5 in CapCut) is a genuinely different level of intentionality than most AI-generated shorts settle for.
