Hey everyone! Excited to jump into #ContraQuest and share a bit about myself.

I’m Abel: a self-taught 3D artist, Art Director, designer, and Framer Partner. For the past 5 years, I’ve been creating 3D art, teaching techniques, and sharing my process on X, Instagram, Patreon, and other platforms!

I love crafting chrome and gothic-inspired 3D visuals, using Blender and Octane Render, and I’ve been lucky to collaborate with brands like Nike, Gucci, Moncler, Junya Watanabe, and Vivienne Westwood.

My big goal for 2026 is to join a studio where I can work alongside other creatives, push my skills further, and continue learning every day. I’m all about exploring new ideas, experimenting with visuals, and helping others level up in 3D along the way.

We've been working with @Jack Saltel VOVY Company (4 month already of collab on @Contra ) on their mascot, branding, web design, and more. Excited to see them go live in Times Square! The interesting thing is that the character was animated in @Rive and exported as a video asset to use on the Times Square banner, since it has already been rigged there for many other web actions and interactions, using some cool poses and states we will be showing soon. Big shout out to @Junior Fonseca and @Daniel Aleman Robaina, part of our team, who have been working on this collaboration!

With the The Kittl Challenge on Contra kicking off soon, I figured I'd use the limbo time waiting on a brief from a freelance client to jump into Kittl for the first time. A quick walkthrough of how I used it to generate some mockups and graphic assets ahead of the brief landing.

Super impressed with Kittl overall, well worth adding to the kit. I can't wait to see what the rest of the community comes up with beginning tomorrow.
