Another entry for the @Rive Character Challenge on Contra. This time with a personal project where I'm still developing the visuals.
This character is just hungry and losing his baby teeth.
Inspired by the song "The Cannibal Kid," I developed this peculiar child as part of a future musical interaction.
Here's a bit of the rigging and animation mixing process.

Here's my entry for the #characterchallenger @Rive x @Contra challenge. This character was developed for the website vovy ai
He's a very friendly robot who feels like a companion and will accompany you as you learn and get introduced to the world of code.
Vovy is one of those characters you see and want for yourself.
Friendly, patient, and fun.
My process always starts with a sketch.
Node connections + bones and shapes in Feather, clip + draw order is the combination to achieve volume and a faster animation flow.
Adding to this is the use of solos for a better combination of facial expressions.
The animation loops are supported by small animations (breakdowns) to enrich the transitions from one state to another.
Playing with this character and his rigging was a lot of fun.
If you see him around, go up to him and say, "Hello, Vovy!"

My entry for the Contra + Rive Challenge: Impossible UI.
Combining Music, History, and Interaction on Rive.
This crazy idea arose from creating motion transitions so you can discover who these two characters were.
Where I come from, music is always present. And listening to salsa is a must.
Sometimes the stories within the songs are simple, but other times they are so complex, and when you listen to a lot of salsa, you find connections you never imagined existed.
These two criminal characters are connected. As if they lived in the same universe, even though from another point of view it might seem otherwise.
One song performed by Rubén Blades and the other sung by the magnificent voice of Héctor Lavoe. But the incredible thing is how they connect through the composer Willie Colón. And the latter with many songs with stories and characters.
Its goal is to educate future generations and honor these masters.
Let's make the internet more beautiful.

Freezing a moment sometimes takes time, but when you're interested in specific subjects it's easier. I love sports and I felt very comfortable creating this illustration. Vibrant colors and the energy of movement.
