Relying only on Framer's marketplace feels like a mistake.
Day 2 of figuring out how to market a framer template business.
my experience submitting Framer templates across different marketplaces so far👇
1. SelectedSite
(commission-free)
I was able to sign up immediately and submit my template right away. The review process takes less than 24 hours. The upload experience was seamless, the platform is well-designed, and they don't take any commission.
2. framerthings
(commission: 30%)
They review your creator account first, which takes 1–2 business days. Only after approval can you upload templates, which then go through another ~24-hour review.
3. Contra
(commission-free)
I listed my templates without any review process. I also shared one free template as a post—it received likes and comments, but only a few remixes on the first day.
4. Frameplate
(commission-free)
They only publish one template per weekday, which means the current waiting list is around 10–12 weeks.
5. Creative Market
(commission: confusing, but around 50%?)
The signup process was instant. I submitted my template, and the application review takes 3–4 business days.
6. UI8
(commission: 30%)
I applied to become a creator, but my application was rejected without any explanation. I reached out for feedback but haven't received a response yet.
7. Gallereee
(submitting a template costs $69)
Featuring a website is free, but submitting a template costs $69, so I haven't tried this one!

Not everything I build lives in Framer.
This one's a code project: I rebuilt Payy's React marketing site — a stablecoin payments company — from the front-end up. New typography system, a reusable motion foundation (scroll reveals, animated stats, page transitions), a handful of custom components, and a footer with proper parallax. All hand-written, no UI framework doing the heavy lifting.
I ran the whole build through Claude Code, which is where 15 years of front-end experience actually pays off — I'm not prompting and hoping. I know what good motion feels like, how to keep things performant and accessible, and where the real work is. The AI moves fast; the engineering judgment is mine. I also work fluently with MCPs like the Figma MCP, so I can pull straight from design files into clean, accurate code.
