I’ve been reading the news about Adobe’s new agentic updates and comparing it to the recent discussions around the Human Creativity Benchmark.
To me, AI isn’t a threat—it’s an engine.
Creativity didn’t start with software, and it won’t end with it. It’s a human trait that has evolved through centuries, and design software is just the latest medium for that. The shift I’m seeing now is that we are moving from "pixel-pushers" to "System Directors."
The design process remains 100% human-led. We are the ones instructing, directing, and sharing our vision. That’s why two artists can use the exact same AI tool and produce completely different results—the difference is the professional mind behind the prompt.
AI handles the "speed ramps" of production, but it still lacks the "why." For me, human creativity is the ability to take that raw speed and apply the intent, judgment, and professional taste that makes a piece of work truly stand out. It’s not about the tool; it’s about the person in the director’s chair.
Curious how others here are balancing "raw AI speed" with their own human creative signature? #HumanCreativityBenchmark
