Small update from the Clustta design side: @Linda Ojo has been building out a custom icon library for the app. Not live yet, still a work in progress, but wanted to share some of the process.
There are genuinely great libraries out there, but no single one ever covers everything. Some metaphor you need exists in one pack and is just missing (or awkwardly represented) in another. So up until now we've been cobbling icons together from a few different sources, which works, but it means subtle inconsistencies in stroke weight, corner radius, etc.
Building a custom set fixes that at the root. Every icon shares the same visual language, and if a metaphor we need doesn't exist yet, we just draw it instead of hunting for a substitute. Sharing a preview of where things stand, more to come as this makes its way into the actual product.

For Mentra, I designed a learning dashboard that brings courses, progress, analytics, and next steps into one clear view.
The goal was to make dense information easy to scan, highlight clear priorities, and help users understand what matters next without feeling overwhelmed.
Social icons always feel like an afterthought on portfolio sites
I keep noticing this when exploring portfolio sites recently
99% of social icons are just icons with some boring hover effects and call it done.
I thought of it, and just come up with some cool interaction which you can do to showcase the social icons, link and text too. (it's easy to customise as per your needs and requirements.)
So I made a small dock (LOGO DOCK) where the icons stay minimal by default, then the label appears when you hover. it can be any other text too as whatever you choose.
it's nothing crazy tho, but doing this small change make your portfolio or any website more interactive. that's where unique and different visuals come, right.
