The fastest way to blow a deadline is to hand a developer a file they have to interpret. Interpretation is where time goes. A screen that looks finished but doesn't say what happens on tap. A flow with no error state. A component that exists on one screen and gets rebuilt slightly differently on the next. Each of those is a question. Each question is a Slack thread. Each thread is a day. So the file gets structured before anyone builds from it. Flows grouped by how the product works. Every state accounted for, not just the happy path. Patterns pulled into one system so the same button isn't designed three times. None of this is glamorous. It's the difference between a launch window you hit and one you watch slide. A design that's only finished on the surface costs you on the way to the App Store, not in the file review.
