Project Overview
Digital Vision Board is a productivity app that reimagines the traditional vision board for the digital age. Think Apple Freeform — but purpose-built for goal setting, personal manifestation, and daily motivation. Users get a fully customizable digital canvas to map out their aspirations across career, health, relationships, and personal growth — enriched with images, videos, audio, affirmations, and milestone tracking.
Built and published on the App Store by Cuboid, the app serves users across iOS, iPadOS, macOS (Apple Silicon), and Apple Vision Pro.
The Problem
Traditional vision boards are static — cut from magazines, pinned to walls, and forgotten. Digital alternatives were either too generic (notes apps, mood boards) or too complex for everyday users who just wanted a focused, beautiful space to visualize their goals.
There was a clear gap for an app that combined the freeform creativity of a canvas tool with the structure of a goal tracker — and made it feel personal, not clinical.
Our Solution
We built Digital Vision Board as an intuitive, media-rich canvas experience where users design their own goal-driven boards from scratch. The app is free to use with a premium upgrade, and designed to be revisited daily — not just set up once and abandoned.
The canvas itself supports drag-and-drop arrangement of images, videos, audio clips, quotes, and affirmations — giving users full creative control over how their goals are represented visually.
Goal tracking and milestones are built directly into the board experience, so progress lives alongside inspiration rather than in a separate app.
Daily reminders prompt users to review their boards, keeping goals front of mind rather than buried in a folder.
Cloud sync keeps boards consistent and accessible across all a user's Apple devices — iPhone, iPad, Mac, or Vision Pro.
Experience Design Philosophy
The interface is deliberately uncluttered — easy enough for a first-time user to build their first board in under five minutes, with enough depth for power users to create layered, multimedia-rich environments. Onboarding is minimal by design. The canvas opens fast, and the tools stay out of the way until needed.
Privacy was treated as a non-negotiable. User content — photos, personal goals, affirmations — is never shared or used for third-party advertising.
