Atlantis — A Coastal Hospitality Website Concept
An exploration of editorial web design, visual storytelling, and premium hospitality experiences.
Atlantis is a visual experiment exploring how a resort website can communicate a sense of escape through thoughtful UI/UX decisions.
The design combines cinematic coastal photography, expressive typography, warm neutral backgrounds, and an editorial grid to create a calm, immersive browsing experience.
Design Direction
Visual storytelling: Large imagery that establishes the destination's atmosphere.
Typography: Expressive script lettering paired with clean, minimal supporting text.
Layout: Asymmetrical compositions and editorial-style sections for a more distinctive rhythm.
Color palette: Ocean-inspired teal, soft cream, and terracotta accents.
UX approach: Clear navigation, scannable content, and visible reservation touchpoints.
The focus was to explore the balance between emotional visual design and functional user experience — making the website feel aspirational without losing clarity.
