The final mark had to show: a sense of motion for the AI loading state, a connection to the logistics industry, and a visual expression of what augmentation means.
The truck wheel became the reference point for the industry tie-in. The six-petal form with a gear shape at the center reads as a simplified truck rim, which also happens to read as a settings icon. That worked in our favor. Augie handles back-office operations, the same job settings handle in most software.
One detail emerged during the process rather than being planned. The overlapping petals create a third shape where two meet, expressing two things combining into something new. That is close to what augmentation means and we leaned into it once we saw it working.
The gradient builds consistent circular motion, like light spinning around the shape, reinforcing the loading state concept across every touchpoint.

The sound behind the symbol.
A preview of the visual identity for La Original, a brand that has connected musicians with authentic instruments and trusted brands since 1979.
The identity begins with a simple observation: instruments may change, styles may evolve, but they all share the same purpose.
Sound.
The symbol combines the initial O from Original with expanding sound waves, expressing the moment where every musical experience begins. It avoids representing a single instrument because the brand has never belonged to just one. It belongs to everything that makes music possible.
Its simplified form allows the symbol to adapt across every touchpoint while preserving its clarity over time.
Like music itself, the symbol is not only meant to be seen.
It is meant to be felt.

Killer identity work. "The sound behind the symbol" is such a clean thread to build a brand around, you can feel the intention.
Same app concept. Two completely different visual directions.
I’m exploring the design system for Pawsense, a cat care app concept focused on recording your cat’s behavior and turning it into simple insights.
Direction 1 feels softer, calmer, and more trustworthy.
Direction 2 feels bolder, more playful, and more distinctive.
That’s the tradeoff I’m thinking through:
Direction 1 feels more polished and familiar.
Direction 2 feels more memorable and full of personality.
For a cat care app, I’m trying to balance trust with warmth and playfulness.
