Reimagining House Hunting in Nigeria

Finding a house in Nigeria can be stressful. High agent fees, fake listings, outdated property information, and a lack of transparency often make the rental process frustrating for tenants.

This concept explores how technology could simplify the experience by creating a direct connection between landlords and tenants.

The Challenge

Many renters spend weeks searching for apartments, paying multiple inspection fees, and dealing with listings that are no longer available. These challenges increase both the financial and emotional cost of finding a home.

My Approach

Rather than focusing only on the interface, I approached this as a product design challenge. I mapped user pain points, identified opportunities, and designed a mobile experience that prioritizes trust, transparency, and ease of use.

Tech Recruit is an award-winning technology recruitment agency connecting top tech talent with innovative companies across AI, software, robotics, life sciences, semiconductors, and more.

For this project, we designed three interconnected websites for different markets: the global platform, USA Tech Recruit, and European Tech Recruit. To differentiate them while keeping the brand consistent, each received its own primary color identity: blue for the global site, yellow for the US, and green for Europe.
