Ballpark is a product research platform founded by the team behind Marvel App, for which I also designed the logo back in 2016.
The hidden glove tucked into the double L is such a clean way to bake the product into the mark without spelling it out. Curious how the team reacted the first time they saw it, did the trick land right away or need a little explaining?
For this one, it's just a playful hidden Easter egg. Other than the name being related, Ballpark has nothing to do with baseball, so overly baseball-heavy symbolism could throw off what the brand actually stands for. I always present the work with reasoning, but I can imagine...
