Someone wants to reschedule.
And two appointments may never show up.
One receptionist.
Four dentists.
Every booking handled manually.
That’s Leen’s Dental Clinic, the fictional business I built for the Contra x Lovable, #lovablechallenge. (Live Link & Demo at the end)
The brief:
Turn “Can I book?” into “You’re booked.” with as little effort from the clinic as possible.
Before designing, I looked at how dental clinics in Dubai handle bookings. The common pattern was:
Choose a preferred time → submit details → wait for the clinic to call or WhatsApp you back.
So many “booking systems” are really just appointment request forms. That became the opportunity: Most clinics let you request an appointment.
Leen’s lets you actually book one.
The Patient side
🔹 Search naturally: “pain”, “braces”, “kids”
🔹 See relevant dentists only
🔹 View real availability
🔹 Pick an exact slot
🔹 Pay an AED 100 deposit
🔹 Get WhatsApp reminders
🔹 Reschedule or cancel without calling
🔹 Flag first visits, anxiety, or allergies
Clinic side
🔹Every booking lands instantly in the dashboard.
🔹The receptionist can manage appointments, dentist schedules, deposits, reminders, patient notes, no-shows, and availability in one place.
🔹Block a dentist’s time once, and that slot disappears from the patient calendar immediately.
Less phone calls. Less admin. Less back-and-forth.
Before:
Inquiry → phone call → availability check → confirmation → reminder → reschedule
After:
Treatment → dentist → live slot → deposit → confirmed
One deliberate design choice:
No drills. No gloves. No open mouths.
I wanted the experience to feel calm and reassuring, especially for anxious patients.
Outcome:
A complete patient-to-clinic booking experience designed to reduce:
✅ Booking friction
✅ Manual admin
✅ No-shows
✅ Unnecessary calls

This dashboard was designed to fix that. Weekly spending at $24,200, up 12.5% from last month. Monthly budget at $38,543 with 75% already allocated. Budget goals tracked by category salary, investments, freelance, and others each with a completion percentage and a dollar target that makes progress visible before the month ends.
The group contribution panel takes it further. Four members. One shared budget of $5,000. Taylor completed. Morgan at 70%. Quinn at 45%. Jamie cancelled. A collaborative finance tool that makes shared budgeting feel as clean as personal budgeting should.
Upcoming bills electricity, internet, grocery listed before they hit. A spending breakdown table that shows exactly what was budgeted, what was spent, and how much is left in every category.
This is what budget management looks like when the design treats users like they actually want to be in control of their money.

This caught my attention immediately. Great use of contrast and visual hierarchy.
In home page instead of normal blur div, try to use svg filter blur with turbulence and displacement map.. it looks more natural and premium

The design direction uses soft visual environments, editorial typography, rounded components, product-led storytelling, and structured content hierarchy to make the platform feel both professional and approachable.
The goal wasn't to make another dashboard-heavy SaaS website.
It was to create an experience where users can quickly understand the product, explore its capabilities, build confidence, and take action.
