I’ve always preferred lighter tools like WordPress or Webflow. But somehow life keeps throwing me into harder systems.
Right now I’m working with a CMS almost no one has heard of — Web Perspective. It’s an internal government system that runs on XSL and seems completely unaware that PHP exists.
So imagine my surprise when I got p5.js running in it. I was genuinely losing my mind over that.
The site is still in progress — the before and current state are shown in the same video. I still have 200+ pages to rebuild.
What I love most is that I’m not just redesigning it — I’m restructuring everything so when I leave, the next person can copy text from Word, paste it in, and it will already match the new style.
And yes, I’m completely on fire about this project.
