I kept losing clients while I was asleep. So I built an AI to fix it. π€
I'm an AI automation freelancer, and most of my clients are from outside Bangladesh. π
Different time zones meant one brutal problem β while I was sleeping, leads were messaging me on Instagram, ready to buy. By the time I woke up, they were gone. Cold. Or already talking to someone else. π΄
I was literally losing sales in my sleep.
So I built my own AI Sales Agent for Instagram DMs. π
β Replies to every incoming DM instantly, 24/7 β no time zone, no sleep, no delay
β Talks naturally with leads, like a real conversation, not a robotic script
β Understands what they need and explains exactly why my service is the right fit for them
β Handles objections and questions on its own
β Convinces interested leads and takes the order details
β Notifies me instantly on Telegram and Gmail the moment a lead is ready
Now I wake up to confirmed leads and orders instead of cold, missed conversations. π¬β¨
If you're a freelancer or business owner dealing with international clients across different time zones, you already know this pain. Your leads don't wait for your time zone β but your AI agent can be there for them.
This is exactly the kind of system I now build for other businesses too β AI sales agents, lead qualifiers, and automated follow-up systems that work while you sleep. π€β‘οΈπ°
Built my portfolio in 1 hour after years of procrastinating. The trick: references first, design every motion yourself, dictate prompts with Wispr Flow, name #GSAP + #Lenis, build with Claude, publish with #Lovable. AI executes, you direct. π
Cockpit is an AI agent management platform concept that helps teams:
- Set boundaries
- Monitor activity
- Manage approvals
- Track knowledge sources
- Measure performance and costs
It brings together five key AI UX challenges:
π Autonomy
π Observability
π Human Approvals
π Context
π Analytics
The idea is simple:
As AI agents become more capable, the experiences we design around them need to make their actions more transparent, predictable, and manageable.
Weekend fun πΊ. The new MacBook Pro has a Dynamic Island, and I kept wondering: what if that little pill was where your AI agent lived?
Try it live: https://lab.behzad.me/agent-mew/
So I spent the weekend prototyping Agent Mew. You drop a file on the notch, give it a task, and it quietly works up there while you keep doing your thing. It shows progress in the wings, asks a quick question when it needs one, and always waits for your OK before doing anything that leaves your Mac, like sending an email.
A few things I explored:
- Progress that stays out of the way, readable at a glance
- Questions as one tap, not a chat window
- Approval cards for anything with real consequences
- Paused and stuck states that tell you what to do next
- A small animated cat, because agents should have some personality
Approval cards for anything that leaves the Mac is the right line to draw. Does the card show the full email before you tap OK, or a short summary? I'd lean toward full text for anything going to another person.
