An MVP does not need fewer features. It needs fewer unclear decisions.
When founders say they want an MVP quickly, the real bottleneck usually is not coding speed.
It is deciding:
- which user flow matters most
- what can stay manual for now
- which integration is truly required for launch
- what must feel polished from day one
That is why I like projects where product thinking and implementation happen together. A lean product becomes much easier to ship when the core workflow is clear.
If you are planning a portal, dashboard, or SaaS MVP, scoping the workflow well usually saves more time than cutting random features later.
