Yesterday, I saw a lot of movement in the Motion Design community in X about the new Higgsfield AI Vibe Motion release. I had to test it myself; everyone promoting it was sharing amazing results. Even I was scared about the possibility of being replaced by prompting robots.
The reality was far from it, fortunately. As with all the AI tools that have been released so far, especially when they are just dropping, this one is not creating spectacular results (yet...). I can even say it did an awful job. But with AI you don't know, maybe it will improve exponentially.
On the left, you can see the text I wanted to animate; on the right, you can see the result. You can at least say that it animated the image (?).

How are you actually using AI in your design workflow?
For me, AI sharpens the thinking before it speeds up the making. I use ChatGPT to turn my ultra detailed briefs into compelling brnd stories and identity descriptions. Great storytelling sells and not everyone is a natural copywriter. It replaces hours of copy refinement and elevates the narrative.
For visuals, I use Google Nano Banana Pro for most concepts, Seedream 4.5 for ultra-realistic 4K mockups, and Mystic 2.5 for surreal, illustrative explorations. They don’t replace creativity, they expand it.
Big insight: AI is only as good as your input. The better the prompt, the better the outcome.
How much time do you invest in crafting the perfect prompt?
Using AI to sharpen briefs before touching Figma is such a smart workflow. Probably 20-30 mins on prompts saves hours of revision later.
Tried building a Flappy Bird-style game in Rive today.
After an hour of state machines, triggers, and transitions… all I managed to create was a ball that falls beautifully, but refuses to jump. 😅
It made me realize how powerful (and humbling) interactive motion design really is. It’s not just animation. It’s logic, systems, and precision.
Huge respect to everyone who masters Rive and builds real interactive experiences with it. It’s a different level for me.
