How are you actually using AI in your design workflow?
For me, AI sharpens the thinking before it speeds up the making. I use ChatGPT to turn my ultra detailed briefs into compelling brnd stories and identity descriptions. Great storytelling sells and not everyone is a natural copywriter. It replaces hours of copy refinement and elevates the narrative.
For visuals, I use Google Nano Banana Pro for most concepts, Seedream 4.5 for ultra-realistic 4K mockups, and Mystic 2.5 for surreal, illustrative explorations. They don’t replace creativity, they expand it.
Big insight: AI is only as good as your input. The better the prompt, the better the outcome.
How much time do you invest in crafting the perfect prompt?

Using AI to sharpen briefs before touching Figma is such a smart workflow. Probably 20-30 mins on prompts saves hours of revision later.

Personally, I'm best friends with Gemini 3 Pro, I speak to it more than anyone home lol, I use it for mindmapping, decision making and mostly everything

Yes absolutely, grok happens to be a good research and strategic plan builder tool for me as well. I've got to try Gemini 3 Pro for this occasion.

I just completed a project that lays basically entirely on AI. We were making a presentation for a client that showcases their product, so they can expand markets. We basically generated their bottle design on some cool dreamy scenes (Nano Banana Pro), then from the main scene,...

Awesome work, definitely no doubt. Would love to see the outcome

sometimes feel the best prompts come after sketching, not before. Do you usually refine visually first or textually?
Filip's avatar
The storytelling expansion process takes part for me after the sketching which goes in the initial first phase.

AI works best as a thinking partner before execution. I’ve seen how structured prompts and system design can completely elevate brand clarity and user experience.

This is so calming! 🧘

Love this perspective, using AI to sharpen thinking before speeding up execution is such a powerful shift. Treating it as a creative expander, not a replacement, feels like the right balance.
Curious, how do you decide when to trust your intuition over what the AI suggests?
Filip's avatar
Good question, you got to have studied thoroughly and completely aware of the subject and solutions you're working on, that way you can spot when something feels off.

really cool stuff

AI would always be GOATED!! I agree itt significantly reduces hours of refinement and helps sharpen the thinking process.

Prompt time depends on the stage. For storytelling and brand voice, I’ll refine prompts for 20–40 minutes because clarity there compounds. For visuals, I iterate fast: short prompts, rapid testing, then refine what shows potential.
