Stop touching your Meta Ads daily budget. You’re resetting your algorithm to zero.
I see e-commerce founders panic-edit their campaigns. They see a minor spike in CPA on Day 2, so they swap out a headline, nudge the age targeting, or adjust the budget by 30%.
On Meta, these are significant edits. Every single tweak throws your ad back into the Learning Phase. You are throwing away precious pixel data and forcing the system to start from scratch.
The Solution: Respect the 20% rule: If you must adjust budgets, never increase or decrease by more than 20% at a time to avoid a learning reset.
The 30-conversion rule: Let your ad set hit 30 conversions or run for 7 days untouched before judging its baseline.
Target broad, let creative filter: Don't micro-segment. Consolidate your ad sets and let high-performing hook variations do the targeting for you.

I may have failed on my promise, because with just two months of work after that post, we are sitting at over 33k on Instagram (from 500 followers) and 3k on TikTok (from 2 followers) with thousands of $ in orders for them. With ZERO ad spend.
Never underestimate the power of organic social media growth. Literally $0 ad spend for a couple million views across multiple videos.
