How I Reduced CPC $0.80 to $0.35 for USA Shoe Brand (Google Ads Breakdown) 👟
Most shoe brands waste $$$ on broad PMax. I don't.
Case Study: USA Hemp Sneaker Brand (Shopify)
Problem: CPC $0.80, ROAS 1.2x, PMax eating budget with "free shoes" searches.
What I Fixed:
KILLED Broad Match - Used Exact + Phrase for BUYER intent only:
[buy hemp sneakers men]
[sustainable shoes usa]
NOT "shoes" (too broad)
Added 200+ Negative Keywords: free, cheap, DIY, how to make...
Split Campaigns:
Search (High Intent) - 60% budget
Shopping (Product) - 30% budget
PMax (Brand only) - 10% budget
Result in 30 Days:
CPC: $0.80 → $0.35 (56% down)
ROAS: 1.2x → 3.2x
Revenue: $15k → $38k/mo
