The hard part isn't the AI, it's the language. Latvian has under two million speakers, and most speech engines mangle it. I benchmarked three different speech-to-text stacks and built a custom WebSocket bridge so the agent understands Latvian, Russian and English and switches between them mid-call, the way patients actually speak. Response time went from ~5.2s to ~3.2s, which is the difference between a call that feels broken and one that feels normal.

For a dental clinic in Riga, the agent takes inbound calls, checks live calendar availability, books the appointment, sends an SMS confirmation, and forwards anything unusual to the admin by email. Phone numbers are captured over the keypad, because no speech engine gets an 11-digit ID right over a phone line.
