Which one would you put on the menu?

The first is a deep red coupe on a turquoise block, grapefruit peel over the rim, the whole frame cool with one diagonal of light across the wall.

The second is a yellow coupe on a lilac plinth against plum, a cherry on a gold pick, palm shadow and late sun falling from the left.

Which one would you run?

The first is a terracotta tin on a blue ledge, whitewashed arch and sea behind, a cracked pod and a pile of loose cacao beside it, olive branch and clay urn in frame.

The second is a cream tin with a brown lid on a yellow disc against deep red, one bean at its base, light raking across in hard diagonals.

One sells the origin. The other sells the object.
