Most heritage crafts get sold through a product grid and a paragraph about "tradition."
Sillanwali has been making naqshi lacquer woodcraft since 1710 — a craft carried across the 1947 Partition and kept alive by artisan families ever since. That story deserved better than a grid.
So the homepage doesn't open with products. It opens with the history, told in dated chapters, with archival photography and aged caption cards. You read who these people are before you see a single price. Trust first, then the sell.
Underneath the storytelling is a real store: 50 products across 4 collections, cart, and COD checkout built for how Pakistan actually buys.

One of the biggest lessons from this project came before the final design.
I initially approached c.black as a full redesign, only to discover the real goal was to create a seamless extension of the existing website. This shift required rethinking the direction, aligning the new experience with the established brand, and ensuring both platforms felt like one cohesive product rather than two separate websites.
The result was a unified, high-converting experience that stayed true to the brand while improving usability and consistency.
