Omni-chain vETH enables liquid staking across multiple chains while maintaining a single unified value.
With Bifrost’s upgraded SLPx 2.0 architecture and the vETH 3.0 upgrade, ETH liquid staking becomes modular, fast, and seamless for users.
vETH can now be minted across multiple ecosystems — including Ethereum, Optimism, Arbitrum, and Polkadot — while maintaining a unified value.
This is enabled through ERC-4626 vault architecture and Bifrost’s global accounting system, which:
- consolidates mint/redeem activity across chains
- computes a single ETH–vETH exchange rate
- ensures consistent valuation of vETH
SLPx 2.0 allows minting and redemption to be executed locally on each chain, removing cross-chain transaction overheads and improving UX.
As a result:
- vETH becomes an omni-chain LST
- liquidity is no longer fragmented across chains
- local chain liquidity is utilized efficiently
- value remains unified through global accounting
