Zeyna, our first @Webflow  template is live — approved without a single revision. Role: Designer & Webflow Developer — end-to-end: concept, design system, build, animation, QA
Zeyna is the first Webflow template we submitted to the marketplace. It was accepted on the first review — no soft reject, no revision requests, no back-and-forth.
That part wasn't luck. Before writing a single class name, I built an audit checklist from Webflow's official Submission Guidelines and Quality Rubric, plus published author write-ups and a teardown of featured templates. Then I ran the finished template against it page by page: semantic class naming, combo-class depth, heading hierarchy, alt text, meta data, variable binding, CMS naming conventions. Anything that could trigger a reviewer note got fixed before submission rather than after.
What the template is
A monochrome creative agency and portfolio template, designed from scratch in Figma before any Webflow work started. The design system came first: a five-role color palette with a light/dark theme layer, a 1.2 minor-third type scale (Inter Tight + Geist), a 12-column grid, and a documented spacing and radius scale. All of it maps 1:1 to Webflow Variables, so the template is themeable without touching CSS.
The build covers three homepage variations — each with its own layout rhythm, not a recolored copy — twenty-plus pages, and six CMS templates on a relational CMS structure (portfolio, blog, jobs, clients) so non-technical clients can actually maintain it. The portfolio runs 23 projects across mixed aspect ratios in a single grid.
On top of the static build sits a separate, reusable interaction layer: one GSAP engine driving parallax, smooth scroll, scroll-triggered reveals, and header state transitions, consolidated into a single embed instead of scattered snippets — easier to audit, easier to hand over.
