Half day. That's how long it took to go from "why existing bookmark extensions don't fit all my needs" to a custom Chrome extension running in my browser.
If you have hundreds of bookmarks scattered across folders with zero organization, you know the pain. I tried a handful of bookmark managers on the Chrome Web Store and didn't find one that fully met my needs. So I opened Antigravity, connected Claude Code, and started building my own.
What it does: Card-based visual grid instead of Chrome's default list. Open Graph images are pulled automatically for link previews. Dead link detection and bulk removal of duplicates. A tagging system that Chrome still doesn't have natively. The OG image fetcher chokes on sites with aggressive CORS policies, and the tag UI needs work. But it handles my 1800+ bookmarks without lag.
