Most SaaS founders who've hired an agency before brace for the same thing. Slow replies, no clue what's happening, a big reveal at the end that misses half of what they asked for.
So here's exactly how I run a project, stage by stage.
1. It starts with strategy before a single pixel: one 90-minute call where I dig into the business.
Most agencies skip straight to design. That's why their sites look good and convert nothing. Get this part wrong and everything after it is wrong too.
2. Then positioning: This is the real work, and almost nobody does it. We nail the one thing your site has to land, the problem your buyer wakes up with and why you're the obvious answer.
3. Then design, in stages: You don't wait three weeks for a reveal. You watch the homepage take shape, then the inner pages, and react as they build. Feedback runs in three capped rounds, so nothing drags into months.
4. Once design's signed off, I build it: Real code, fast and responsive, works the way it looked. Most projects go live in [four to six weeks]. An in-house hire takes about three months just to start shipping.
5. Launch day, I'm in it with you: Not emailing a zip file and wishing you luck. I push it live, check it all holds, and walk your team through how it works.
6. Then I stay on for 30 days after: A site's never quite done at launch, and I'd rather make sure it's pulling its weight than hand it over and disappear.
That's the whole thing. The work matters, but running it so you always know where things stand is the part founders remember.
