Salish Radial UI — Modern Smartwatch System & Vector Identity
Description:
For the Recraft Design Challenge on Contra, I built a cohesive digital visual system rooted in historical radial geometry rather than generic prompts. My foundation started in open-access museum archives, curating high-resolution public domain spindle whorls featuring 360-degree radial symmetry.
Using these circular geometric artifacts, I trained a custom Recraft V4 Style to learn the underlying logic of line weight, concentric rings, and central-axis balance. Through precise prompting, I stripped away heavy wood textures to deliver a high-contrast dark slate UI (#0F172A) highlighted by vivid cyan and orange vector line art.
Deliverables Included in Submission:
Primary Smartwatch UI Dial SVG: Full circular smartwatch watch face featuring a saw-tooth outer bezel, clean digital typography (10:10, Monday, 85%), and four mirrored crescent whorls framing core complications.
Secondary Watch Dial Variant SVG: A streamlined, high-contrast watch face variant optimized for daily wear and quick timekeeping readability.
App Icon Emblem SVG: A bold, scalloped vector emblem icon built for mobile app launchers.
Companion Logo Mark SVG: A minimal, high-contrast circular logo mark designed for scalable digital brand identity.
