Pingr is a real-time, ephemeral terminal messaging application built with Python, WebSockets, and Textual. Users can create or join password-protected chat rooms without accounts or persistent databases. It features a modern terminal UI with Markdown support, mentions, clipboard tools, slash commands, and real-time member tracking. The project also supports self-hosted WebSocket servers and is packaged and published on PyPI for easy installation.
