I built Studio Inkline, a full booking product for a solo tattoo artist in Mumbai, in Lovable, and the process mattered more than the prompts. Here's how it went:
PRD first: I wrote the problem (3 in 10 sessions lost to no-shows, with every booking stuck in Instagram DMs), the users, the flows, and one rule: no deposit, no slot.
UI reference: I brought a visual reference so Lovable got the look, not just the logic. PRD for logic, reference for taste.
First pass: I gave Lovable both and got the full skeleton in one go: live availability, design brief, instant estimate, ₹1,500 Stripe deposit and artist dashboard.
Small prompts: I iterated one change at a time, like "make the card bg white", and checked each result.
Taste calls: When I asked for a selected-work refresh, Lovable offered layouts and I picked the editorial archival gallery. I added quiet scroll reveals and told it not to change the booking behavior.
Finishing: I set my banner as the OG image (1200×630, about 103 KB) and Lovable ran a security update on the packages.
Launch: I used the same chat to write the X and LinkedIn posts and plan the demo video.
The takeaway: a PRD gives it logic, a reference gives it taste, small prompts give you control, and telling it what must not change protects what already works. Live at https://studioinkline.online.

Cooking Party Booking Experience ✨
Hi Contra Community ❤️ Taking part in a Lovable challenge feels like the perfect way to celebrate reaching 1,000 followers...
Alright ! Everything's coming together slowly. Having the software running in Rive runtime, building real time cinematics, and having all the keys to edit things by hand and directing AI. Feels so good !
There's a lot to show, yet a lot to do. I'm new to build in public somehow but I think the tool itself will be open sourced as I think it would be valuable for people to contribute and maybe create some 3D games inside Rive with all the tools they would need ? I don't know 😃 At least I'm having fun !
