i think dark provides enough pops of color to keep engagement & the creative brain locked into attention while still free to interpret the material really well! extra dark, in comparison, is just as sleek, but looks just a tiny bit like it's missing something after seeing dark.
Good point! Crazy that we have to manipulate engagement with colors but it is quintessential design psychology at work!

Going Dark here. The color gradient hits in the right spots without pushing too far into moody territory, which usually works better when clients are comparing slides in a meeting.
Ooo great point, I do see extra dark being moodier, the background music will be a moody retro synthwave as well... 👀

Every morning my mother draws Rangoli
on our doorstep in Bengaluru.
I always watched but could never
recreate her art.
So I built Rangoli Studio —
where anyone can create traditional
Indian Rangoli patterns dot by dot.
THE PROBLEM:

to experience this 5000 year old tradition.
