For the Cantina X Contra challenge I created a 3D Style bot with ball joints named Adrianna.
Episode 1 - the pilot. Adrianna is a poor, hopeful young doll who dances in a cramped attic on shoes held together with red and yellow thread, one day she sees a flier about the CANTINA GRAND BALLET, while she was excited her grandmother Nana quietly sells the one thing she owns a golden thimble so Adrianna can audition for the prestigious Cantina Grand Ballet Academy.
She’s accepted. But in her very first class under the cold, unreadable Madame Claire, a hairline vein of grey stone appears in her knee, what does this mean?
Does the CANTINA BALLET SCHOOL HAS MORE SECRETS THAN SHE THOUGHT SHE KNEW??
🔥 Where I'd take it from here: The engine of the show is the gap between what Adrianna thinks is happening (a dream come true) and what the audience starts to suspect (a trap that's happened to dancers before her).
How she gets to perform at the CANTINA GRAND BALLET one last time before she turns into stone.
I'd spend the next stretch of episodes widening that gap Madame Claire isn't a one-note villain, she's the keeper of a system, and there's a real question of whether she was once a dancer who turned to stone too and simply outlasted it into something colder.
Nana becomes the emotional spine on the outside: her search in Episode 3 isn't a one-off rescue attempt, it's the start of her working to understand what the academy actually is, which could eventually put her in direct conflict with Claire rather than just sneaking past her. I'd also start paying off the "frozen but aware" idea from Episode 3 where Adrianna is conscious inside the stone, able to watch Nana searching for her, unable to answer. That's a strong recurring...
