Cookie-gating CMS content in Framer in literally 10 minutes
Had to set this up on a recent project.
Part of the CMS page needed to stay public, while the rest should only open after someone submits the form.
No auth or membership setup. Just a form trigger + cookie gating.

Part 2
The setup is pretty straightforward:
1.Add the component to your Framer canvas.
2.Give IDs to the section that should stay visible, the form, and the content that should be gated.
3.Add the same IDs inside the component and choose how long the cookie should stay active.

Gated Content — Free Component for Framer
Collect Email to Generate Lead — Gated Content is a free Forms component for Framer, on the Framer Marketplace. Build on it with Framer’s agent, directly on the canvas.
Amazing!
Form trigger plus cookie gating instead of full auth is such a clean workaround, this usually turns into a whole gated-content build. Did the client ask for it specifically, or did you suggest it once you saw what they actually needed?
They didn’t have any serverless backend in place, and for this use case full auth would’ve been overkill. From the marketing side, cookie gating was enough to solve the actual problem, so I suggested keeping it simple.
public half staying public is the neat bit
Yep, the form trigger lived inside Framer too. I used a small custom component to listen for the successful form/download action, set a page-specific cookie, and then unlock the gated CMS content.

I've been working on Cervia, a @Framer website for a single product.
A good single-product site combines the landing page and the store in one page, so the call to action is the purchase itself. Visitors learn what the product is, see why it’s better, and add it to the cart without leaving the page.
The challenge is making one page do both jobs. It has to look like a landing page, with room to explain the product and show it well, and still work like a store product page, with the price, colors and Add to cart always close at hand.
Every extra step between arriving and paying loses some buyers, so I kept the steps to a minimum.
This is so well put Heron! 🔥 Single-product site logic is spot on - landing + store in one page removes friction, CTA is purchase itself. No wandering around. Visitors learn what it is, why it's better, add to cart without scrolling through 5 pages - that's conversion gold!...
