This is Bob, a fully interactive Rive character who decided to register himself in the Rive Interactive Character Challenge :)
For this project, I handled the vectorizing, rigging, animation, and the full state machine architecture: visemes mapped to speech, expressions, triggers, and outfit swaps, all built to scale from a single .riv file.
Bob lives inside the Ctuber app. You type a script, tag the animations with a few buttons, and the app builds the full talking video on its own, AI voiceover included. Type something different, and he reacts differently. The app was built by the Ctuber team, and they were kind enough to let me use it to produce some of these videos.
Funny how a challenge makes you finish something you'd been sitting on. Glad this one did.

I wanted to build an impossibly tense, high-end thriller sequence where a completely mundane decision feels like a matter of life or death. I created this by utilizing Seedance 2.0 Omni within the Renoise Canvas, relying on locked camera angles and hyper-detailed facial micro-expressions to sell the absolute, sweaty panic before pulling the rug out at the end.

This short film follows an older woman with Alzheimerās as she relives a memory loop from her younger years, when she was preparing for an important exhibition at the height of her artistic career. šØ
What first feels like a young artistās present moment slowly reveals itself as a fragment of memory, seen through the mind of the woman she becomes. š°ļø
