Content That Looks Good Isn't Always Content That Works.
One lesson I've learned from managing social media and creating content for different brands:
Good design can stop the scroll. Good content gives people a reason to stay.
Before creating a post or Reel, I try to answer four questions:
Who am I creating this for? What problem does this audience have? Why should they care about this content? What should they do next?
This changes content creation completely.
Instead of:
Idea → Design → Post
I prefer:
Audience → Problem → Hook → Value → CTA → Analyze → Improve
A Reel can get thousands of views and still contribute very little to the business.
Another piece of content might receive fewer views but generate profile visits, website clicks, inquiries, or conversations with potential customers.
That's why I don't see content marketing as simply posting consistently.
It's about consistently creating content with a clear purpose.
Create for the audience. Measure the response. Learn from the data. Make the next piece better.
That's how content becomes part of a marketing strategy rather than just filling a content calendar.
