🚨 Too busy to reply to every customer on Facebook?
Imagine a restaurant owner handling the kitchen, staff, tables, deliveries, and catering orders…
…and at the same time trying to reply to dozens of Facebook Messenger messages.
“Are you open now?” “Where is your restaurant?” “How much is Chicken Biryani?” “Can I book a table?” “I want to order 2 Biryani and 1 Coffee.”
Eventually, some messages get missed.
And a missed message can mean a lost customer.
So I asked myself:
What if AI could handle the first line of customer communication?
That’s what I’ve been building.
Here’s the workflow:
🤖 Customer sends a message on Facebook Messenger ↓ 🧠 AI understands the customer’s request ↓ 📋 Checks the restaurant’s menu & business information ↓ 💬 Replies naturally to the customer ↓ 🍽️ Customer places an order ↓ 📊 Order & customer data are automatically saved to Google Sheets ↓ 📲 Restaurant owner receives a real-time Telegram notification
And it can handle more than just food orders.
🍽️ Orders 📅 Table bookings 🚚 Delivery requests 🎂 Catering inquiries 💬 General customer questions
The owner doesn’t need to sit on Facebook Messenger all day just to answer repetitive questions.
The goal isn’t to replace humans.
The goal is to let AI handle repetitive work so humans can focus on running the business.
I built this workflow using:
🔹 Make.com 🔹 Facebook Messenger 🔹 AI 🔹 Google Sheets 🔹 Telegram
This is one of the projects I’m working on to explore how AI automation can solve real problems for small businesses, not just create another AI demo.
And honestly, I think this can be useful far beyond restaurants.
If a business receives hundreds of repetitive customer messages every month, why should someone manually answer every single one?
What do you think — would you let AI handle your first-line customer support?
