Hey Framer users, quick question
Can I, as a motion designer, actually work with Framer in a meaningful way?
I understand itās primarily a no-code website builder, but I keep seeing Framer being used more like a small animation playground:
ā interactive buttons with hover and micro-interactions
ā smooth transitions between sections
ā clean page transitions
ā UI-like embedded elements that behave almost like product interfaces
ā an overall feeling of a āproductā, not just a website
At some point, it stops feeling like ājust building a siteā and starts feeling more like designing an experience.
How it reacts to the user.
How it moves.
How it feels alive.
In that sense, it feels closer to motion inside a product than traditional web design.
Iām curious how you see it in practice:
ā do you use Framer as part of your motion workflow
ā or is it still strictly a web builder in your process
ā and does it even make sense for a motion designer to go into Framer
Trying to understand if this is already a real too
