Hey Framer users, quick question
Can I, as a motion designer, actually work with Framer in a meaningful way?
I understand it’s primarily a no-code website builder, but I keep seeing Framer being used more like a small animation playground:
– interactive buttons with hover and micro-interactions
– smooth transitions between sections
– clean page transitions
– UI-like embedded elements that behave almost like product interfaces
– an overall feeling of a “product”, not just a website
At some point, it stops feeling like “just building a site” and starts feeling more like designing an experience.
How it reacts to the user.
How it moves.
How it feels alive.
In that sense, it feels closer to motion inside a product than traditional web design.
I’m curious how you see it in practice:
– do you use Framer as part of your motion workflow
– or is it still strictly a web builder in your process
– and does it even make sense for a motion designer to go into Framer
Trying to understand if this is already a real too
