Two Halloweens ago, I was given the opportunity to work with Uber Eats on a free candy promotion campaign, where I built the live website that updates each day with a new riddle to solve.
The idea was simple, You solve the riddle πŸŽƒ, you get the candy. 🍬
The outcome was incredible!
πŸ‘» 290,000 promo codes used in less than 8 hours! πŸŽƒ 2 million promo codes used by Halloween! πŸ’€ 44% new Uber Eats users!
The campaign turned out to be a huge success, and was the most successful promo code campaign for Uber Eats grocery delivery! Ever!
I hope to one halloween do something just as awesome again! Trick or Treat!

@Ken Malley This is exactly how I view every promotional item that you create. It shouldn't feel like a burden on the viewer to look at the advertisement. In this great example, it turned a simple "use this code for a discount" into a fun interactive game that rewards the viewer for figuring out the puzzle. Fantastic, genius marketing!

@Maggie Shanahan The creative team at the advertising agency rethinkideas.com had came up with the riddles. I was hearing that it was quite a hassle to get the legal rights to use some of the riddles from famous horror movies. But they were able to pull some strings to get the green light βœ…
