Soft Serve Summer is a sunburnt retro horror concept disguised as a dreamy 80s roller skate commercial for TRIBLLA. A nameless teen discovers a pair of vintage skates outside an empty beachside ice cream shop and is pulled into a perfect summer fantasy of teal skies, melting vanilla, synchronized smiles, and endless gliding.
I used GPT Image 2 to generate the character blueprint, visual direction, and storyboard frames, building a pastel beachside world filled with teal skies, melting soft serve, synchronized skaters, and vintage advertising energy. The final video was created with Seedance 2.0 + Mini, transforming the storyboard into a hypnotic motion piece where the fantasy gradually fractures and reveals that the skates are not simply worn by the teen, but are choosing their next body.

What transforms AI-generated assets into meaningful creative work?
I created a short cinematic vertical ad for the Envato challenge.
I really like the challenge theme because it reflects something I strongly believe: AI is a powerful creative tool, but it's the human behind the creative vision, direction, and decision-making that elevates the final result.
For this entry, I directed the entire creative process, from developing the concept, selecting the right stock assets, creating AI-generated visuals, color grading, and assembling the final ad.
