Employee Management Dashboard ā Leave & Activity System
Role: UI/UX Designer Responsibilities: Research, wireframing, UI design, dashboard layout, data visualization
problem before design.
HR teams struggled with managing employee leave requests and tracking approvals using spreadsheets and outdated tools, causing delays and confusion.
Solution
I designed a clean, data-driven dashboard with quick access to leave requests, approval status, monthly insights, and employee detailsāreducing decision time and improving clarity.

To ensure the structure supports how decisions are actually made.
For Velarius Consulting, I explored two dashboard directions.
Same data. Different hierarchy.
Testing how structure changes clarity, scanning speed, and action flow.
ā¢ The focus?
Clear grouping.
Stronger visual priority.
More intentional quick actions.
Reduced visual competition between sections.
Dashboards arenāt about showing everything.
Theyāre about guiding attention to what matters first.
ā¢ What Iām validating?
Which layout makes decisions feel faster and more confident at a glance.
Still early ā but structure > styling.
PS: The color usage was part of the requirement.
Love this exploration. Same data rarely means same decisions ā structure fundamentally shapes interpretation and behavior.
