I think about my people more than I think about my business. You're not supposed to say that out loud. I don't care, it's true.

Everybody keeps asking me if AI is going to take their job. I understand the fear. That's the story everyone got handed. Cut the team, the spreadsheet looks a little better.

That's just not the version I'm interested in.

I study AI every day, but not to figure out how to need fewer people. To figure out how to give the ones I have more of their life back. Same work, done in less time. Because most people don't want more money near as bad as they want more time.

So what if AI didn't take your job. What if it took your Friday. Same work, done in less time, and a whole day handed back to the people who earned it. I'm not there yet. I want to be honest about that. We're remote and this is something I'm building toward, not something I'm standing on a stage saying I cracked. But it's where we will be very soon because I study AI for my team not against them. Maybe that makes me a bad businessman. I think it might make me a decent one. If you're quietly building toward something like this too, I'd really like to know I'm not the crazy one.
