Building SKED — a shared planning and growth system for teens and tweens.
Most tools for kids optimise for engagement, not structure. SKED is designed to replace daily friction with routines, reflection, and independence — without fighting screens.
SKED brings structure into one simple system:
Daily planner and task management for school and routines
Journals and mood check-ins to build self-awareness
Podcasts and audiobooks for guided learning
AI-powered cartoon generation with intentional limits
Daily quotes and weekly downloadable calendars
AI features are deliberately constrained to encourage creativity without dopamine-driven overuse.
This is a work in progress, built hands-on as a product builder — and informed by real parental constraints.
