Login page idea design
A playful visual concept where the character literally “arms” himself depending on the strength of the password.
As the user creates a stronger password, the character progressively equips himself with more powerful protection and armor. The stronger the password, the better prepared and more protected he becomes.
The idea turns password security into a simple and engaging visual metaphor , instead of showing abstract security levels, the user can immediately see how their password makes the character stronger and safer.
How do you explain fantasy esports in 5 seconds? 🎮
That was the challenge behind Apex, a fantasy esports web app I designed end to end for a client on Upwork.
The landing page leads with one clear promise, shows the real product right away, and takes players from "what is this?" to "join a league" in three simple steps. Designed for desktop and mobile.
What I delivered:
→ Landing page for desktop + mobile
→ 20 desktop and 5 mobile app screens
→ 9 component sets and 3 prototype flows
→ Design system + full developer handoff in about 4 weeks
"Pick. Play. Rule the arena." with the last beat in orange mirrors the three-step flow nicely. Did that line change at all between desktop and mobile, or stay as is?
We built a pixel-art beauty store where you can shop by playing a video game and the best part? Every purchase in the game is a real purchase, meaning the products you buy are delivered to your door.
Meet Pixel Beauty an interactive shopping experience that turns a traditional online cosmetics store into a 2D pixel-art world.
Instead of scrolling through endless product grids, customers can explore a New York-inspired street, walk into a beauty store with their own character, discover products, and shop through an immersive game-like experience.
And it's more than just a visual experiment.
What's inside?
A controllable pixel character that can walk around and explore.
A detailed 2D New York street with neighboring stores, cafés, pedestrians, cyclists, and interactive surroundings.
An explorable beauty store with different product categories.
Real product images and product details.
Interactive shopping and cart experience.
A connection between the game and the store's actual product inventory, so purchases can translate into real-world orders and deliveries.
Rive powered character and environmental animations.
Smooth scene transitions and camera movements.
Retro 8-bit background music with volume controls.
A responsive experience designed for desktop and mobile.
How did we build it?
The experience was developed with @Lovable with @Rive integrated for interactive animations and a game-inspired visual experience.
The idea behind Pixel Beauty is simple:
Why should online shopping feel like filling out a form when it could feel like exploring a world?
We're exploring a different direction for e-commerce where gaming, interactive design, and real-world shopping come together.
