Custom Shipping Calculation Engine for OpenCart Flooring Store
I developed a custom shipping calculation engine for an OpenCart flooring eCommerce store, replacing default shipping extensions with a fully tailored checkout solution. Implemented two product-level flags (v_supplier and delivered_aboard) to control shipping behaviour dynamically. Vendor supplied products use a custom weight and dimension based pricing model with tiered rates from £35 for small parcels to £485 for heavy pallets. The solution delivers accurate real time shipping costs, supports complex logistics rules, and improves the overall checkout experience
