Reliqio's fintech app development for Feenko ran on a six-week clock: concept in June 2025, live app by mid-July.
Feenko finds the subscriptions people forgot they pay for and helps cancel them. To do that, it asks for access to a bank account and an inbox, about the most a new app can ask of a stranger. The MVP had to be fast and trusted at once.
What we built:
Bank connectivity. Plaid and MX identify recurring charges automatically.
Email discovery. The app catches subscriptions that never show up on a statement.
A provider catalog. Hundreds of services to add manually, with step-by-step cancellation guidance.
Onboarding for trust. Clear, calm screens, designed so that linking a bank account feels like a safe step.
One codebase. Flutter with Firebase, a Node.js and NestJS backend, RevenueCat for subscriptions, and Amplitude for analytics.
What changed:
Concept to live, revenue-generating product: about 1.5 months.
Monthly recurring revenue: around $1M within seven months of launch.
Client team: from 1.5 people to more than 12.
An MVP has one job: to find out if people will pay. This one found out in six weeks.
The monthly report is the screen a bank's leadership actually reads, so in Halden it got the same care as the main dashboard: one look should tell you if it's working. One of my favourite screens to design.
