What is even timeless work?
Timeless is usually a survival outcome, the Oreo logo didn't survive just because somebody designed it well but also it survived because Oreo has been Oreo for a hundred years and you've seen it since you were an infant. Familiarity did most of the work there.
So I always aim to design for clarity, distinctiveness, the specific market and moment in front of you. What they call "timeless" later is just work that was clear enough to last and a company that did well.
